I'm Kierra Washington, host of the She's Healing With Yah Podcast and author of the Growing & Glowing Empowerment and Gratitude Journal.
Part of maturing and growth is realizing areas in your life that require true healing so you can be the best version of yourself, which is walking in the purpose Yah created you for!
This is how the idea for my books, podcast, coaching, birthing business, and everything else I'm working on came to be. Having understanding that as I heal and seek growth, I can share my experience, knowledge, and skill-set to help other Sisters do that same.
I am thankful for the opportunity to be on this healing journey with each of you! Healing is not easy, but the growth and wholeness that is a result of our healing is absolutely worth it!
My Story
There is so much I could share here but I will keep things brief for now. A number of life experiences led me to a space where I longed to change, do better, and re-develop my relationship with The Creator and have a personal connection to Him and His word. As I began to seek, read, and pray He created opportunities for me to better my life in various areas and go through some uncomfortable growth and development that significantly benefitted me.
But as time went on I made a crucial mistake that led to an abusive relationship that altered so many aspects of my life and overall wellness. Now, giving all praises to The Most High, I am free from that situation and He is guiding me through true healing and restoration, and I am so truly thankful for the opportunity. Yah has a clear purpose for my life in spite of the detours and mistakes that have occurred and part of that is sharing my experience, my knowledge, wisdom, and skill-set to be a support to other Sisters on their healing journey!
I come to you as a Mom of soon to be 3 under 3, a Midwife Student, a Birth and Postpartum Doula, a Childbirth Educator, a College Professor, a Project Manager by trade, an Author, a Mindset Coach, and I hold a BS in Biology and an MS in Health Policy and Management.
With all of these interests, accomplishments, and career experiences, as Yah continues to work on me and through me, I am re-shaping my perspective to use these skills in ways to bring glory to His name and support my fellow Sisters and community.
